The recuperator must be connected to the ventilation system (distribution boxes) using an isolated rigid or flexible (as an alternative) ductwork.
The diameter of the connecting insulated air ducts should not be too small. If the individual areas are too long, then the diameter of the air ducts should be increased. In order to minimize the air resistance, fence and exhaust grilles should have a diameter of one size larger than the pipes in the recuperator.
On the supply and exhaust connecting air ducts, mount silencers. Distribution boxes can also be connected via insulated Styro or CRD air ducts. The peculiarity of the design of the air ducts is noise reduction, which eliminates the need to install additional silencers.
